Noemi Martone

Noemi Emanuela Martone wurde 1987 in Neapel, Italien, geboren und arbeitet als Tänzerin und Choreografin. Sie begann ihre Ausbildung an der Ballettschule Fondazione Lyceum Mara Fusco, wo sie 2006 graduierte. Nach ihrem Abschluss trat sie der Cinevox Junior Company in der Schweiz unter der künstlerischen Leitung von Malu Fenaroli Leclerc bei. 2008 zog sie nach Deutschland, um sich dem Ballett Hagen unter der Leitung von Ricardo Fernando anzuschließen. Während dieser Zeit arbeitete sie mit renommierten Choreograf*innen wie Niels Christe, Eric Oberdoff, Young-Soon Hue-Simon und Can Arslan zusammen. 2012 wurde Noemi Mitglied der Tanzcompany am Theater Osnabrück unter der Leitung von Mauro de Candia. Dort arbeitete sie mit renommierten Choreograf*innen wie Stephan Thoss, Marco Goecke, Henrietta Horn, Rafaële Giovanola und Susanne Linke zusammen.  Sie vertiefte ihr Engagement für zeitgenössischen Tanz und Tanztheater und begann, ihren eigenen choreografischen Stil zu entwickeln. Außerdem begann sie zu unterrichten und gab Kurse sowohl für ihre Kolleg*innen als auch für eine engagierte Gruppe von Amateur-Tänzer*innen über 60. Nachdem sie 2016 das Theater Osnabrück verlassen hatte, kehrte sie nach Hagen zurück und tanzte unter der künstlerischen Leitung von Alfonso Palencia und später Marguerite Donlon auf. Sie performte Solopartien in Stücken von Alejandro Cerrudo, Itzik Galili und Cayetano Soto sowie in Originalkreationen von Palencia und Donlon. In den letzten Jahren fand Noemis choreografisches Schaffen zunehmend Anerkennung. Sie war Finalistin beim Tanzwettbewerb What We Are 2021 in Udine (Italien), und Barnes Crossing 2022 in Köln. 2022 gewann sie mit ihrer Arbeit einen Preis beim The Future Dance Festival (New York, USA).

Born in Naples, Italy, in 1987, Noemi Emanuela Martone is a professional dancer and choreographer. She began her formal training at the ballet school Fondazione Lyceum Mara Fusco, graduating in 2006.  After graduation, she joined the Cinevox Junior Company in Switzerland under the artistic direction of Malu Fenaroli Leclerc. In 2008, she moved to Germany to join Ballett Hagen under the direction of Ricardo Fernando. During her time there, she collaborated with choreographers including Niels Christe, Eric Oberdoff, Young-Soon Hue-Simon, and Can Arslan. In 2012, Noemi became a member of Theater Osnabrück, led by Mauro de Candia. During that time, she worked with acclaimed choreographers such as Stephan Thoss, Marco Goecke, Henrietta Horn, Rafaële Giovanola, and Susanne Linke. She deepened her engagement with contemporary dance and Tanztheater while beginning to explore her own choreographic voice. She also started teaching, offering classes to both her colleagues and a dedicated group of amateur dancers over 60. After leaving Theater Osnabrück in 2016, she returned to Hagen, performing under the artistic leadership of Alfonso Palencia and later Marguerite Donlon. She danced solo roles in works by Alejandro Cerrudo, Itzik Galili, and Cayetano Soto, as well as in original creations by both Palencia and Donlon. In recent years, Noemi’s choreographic work has received increasing recognition. She was a finalist for the dance competition What We Are 2021 in Udine (Italy), and Barnes Crossing 2022 in Cologne (Germany). In 2022, she won at The Future Dance Festival (New York, USA).
